Non-Emergency Calls

In addition to fielding emergency calls, the Storey County Communications Center also answers and processes non-emergency and administrative calls. Our center maintains appropriate call logs and forwards information to appropriate county personnel.

Examples of non-emergency calls which should be directed to 775-847-0950 - Not 911 - include:
  • Barking dogs
  • Citizen inquiring about an ongoing investigation
  • Concerns regarding street plowing
  • Parking problems
  • Police reports
  • Vacation watch request
