Wildlife Assistance

Being a part of rural Nevada means we share our beautiful county with animals of every shape and size. Normally this relationship between animals and people is quite peaceful. However, there are instances when a wild animal may be injured, is blocking traffic on a highway, or may be intruding in a populated area. In those instances, we urge residents to contact the Sheriff's Office at 775-847-0950, so that our office can tend to the animal and preserve the safety of both people and wildlife.
