The Storey County Economic Development Department works closely with leaders in the public and private sectors to stimulate business development by retaining existing employers, supporting expansion efforts, and marketing the county to attract new businesses to Storey County.
Through close involvement with the Northern Nevada Development Authority, Storey County representatives meet with prospective businesses to answer questions about the area and assist in site selection efforts. We maintain a variety of brochures for inquiring businesses, complete with up to date demographic, statistical, and quality of life information.
Most recently, Storey County helped support the new Tahoe Reno Industrial Center by approving 6,000 acres for industrial use.
