SC Community Development Letter to County Businesses 3-24-20

All Storey County Businesses
Re: Non-essential Businesses

Dear Owner/Manager:

On March 20, 2020, Governor Sisolak signed Directive 003 ordering all “non-essential” (enclosed) businesses to close until April 16 due to the COVID-19 epidemic. We respectfully remind you of the importance of conforming to the Governor’s directive in order to protect the safety and health of the public and our residents. We are sorry about the hardship that this may cause you and our community.

Although failure to conform may result in citation and/or business license suspension, we encourage creative ways for businesses to remain open such as curbside pickup, take-out, online services, and other means by which to maintain social distancing and to conform to the Governor’s directive.

Our Community Development Department team remain here to assist you and to answer questions that you may have.
