Law Enforcement Beliefs
When it comes to public safety and service, his philosophy is that all policing should be community-oriented. Gerald maintains the nine basic principles of Sir Robert Peel are as valid to modern policing as they were in Peel’s day.

Of utmost importance is the safety of our communities, the reduction of crime and disorder, and to truly be public servants. Through cooperative partnerships with the community that allows for prevention, education, and assistance, Gerald believes we can keep Storey County a desirous place to live, raise families, operate our business, and to visit as tourists.
