2. This request allows you to have your garbage vouchers mailed directly to you, saving you time and ensuring easy access.

   New voucher requests are reviewed and processed once per week.

   Each Storey County household — including those in the Lockwood community, which is served by Waste Management of Nevada, Inc. under a separate service agreement — is eligible to receive up to three (3) vouchers per calendar year. Vouchers are issued beginning January 1st of each year.

   Storey County distributes and tracks all vouchers, verifying household eligibility by name and address. New vouchers are issued annually upon request and are valid only for the year in which they are issued. Waste Management may reject vouchers at either facility if there is evidence of forgery or if the voucher is used by a commercial customer.
