Welcome to Storey County Emergency Management. We plan, prepare, respond, and recover together, as a community, from natural and man-made disasters occurring within Storey County.
Storey County Emergency Management operates in conjunction with other government agencies, the private sector, and community stakeholders to advocate for preparedness, prevention, response, recovery, and mitigation. Our objective is to build a resilient community that withstands all hazards, adapts quickly to disruptions, and rapidly resumes day-to-day activities.
