Storey County’s courthouse follows the state holidays determined by the Nevada Department of Personnel. The following are the annual holidays observed by Storey County:

1st Monday in September	Labor Day

4th Thursday in November	Thanksgiving Day
Friday Following the 4th Thursday in November	Family Day
December 25	Christmas Day

Note: If a holiday falls on Saturday, county offices will be closed the preceding (day before) Friday. If a holiday falls on Sunday, county offices will be closed the following (next day) Monday.
